The products used on dashboards and trim are usually very slippery. You do not want to slide off the brake pedal in a crucial moment. Likewise you do not want to lose control of the steering wheel. By cleaning these key areas with a soapy water solution you get good looking and clean instruments but most importantly safe ones.
